Luna Silhouette, with its semicircular form inspired by the phases of the moon and its pearl weave composition radiating from the center outwards, is positioned as a sculptural icon in the Pearl Weave universe. In this model, the pearl is not merely an ornament covering the surface; it is the main structural element that defines the form, establishes the volume, and governs the relationship with light.
The body consists of iridescent teardrop-shaped beads arranged radially, starting from a single round pearl core in the center, and balanced by round pearl knots. This arrangement creates a symmetrical and controlled rhythm on the surface, resembling a sunbeam or moon ring effect. The crescent silhouette is defined by a soft arc line rather than harsh geometric boundaries, giving the form both a strong and elegant stance.
The teardrop-shaped beads used, unlike classic round pearl surfaces, refract light across the surface instead of reflecting it at a single point, producing a pearlescent, multi-layered luster. Small round pearls placed between them act as structural connection points that stabilize this light flow. As a result, the surface offers a constantly changing, vibrant optical effect instead of a static luster.
The bag's interior volume is defined by a soft, satin-textured inner pouch that perfectly matches the shape of the pearl shell. This internal structure preserves the form without creating a rigid, skeletal feel, enhancing the sense of a jewel-like object when carried.
