Vélis Mahogany , from Atelier Emine's Velvet Noir Couture series, is a high-craftsmanship couture bag designed with a densely textured structure created by weaving micro-beads with a velvet surface using fishing line, and then interspersed with spaced multi-faceted crystal beads.

The bag's surface is built upon a deliberate contrast between the light-absorbing matte texture of the velvet beads and the sharp light refraction of the crystal beads. This individually woven structure creates a soft yet jewel-like depth on the surface, giving the design a dramatic and aristocratic character. The crystal beads are positioned at specific intervals within the velvet weave, breaking the rhythm of the surface and creating a dynamic, layered perception rather than a static texture.

The body form is balanced to preserve the natural flow of the velvet bead weave; it is also reinforced with internal structural support to bear the weight of the crystal beads. Thanks to the monofilament weaving technique, the bag surface offers a seamless, uninterrupted, and sculptural integrity.
